One for the Ladies! ...And a new model that is certainly going to prove very popular!

The Alitza offers the same simplistic FiveFingers experience as the Entrada - but with a more fashionable and feminine look. The additional straps offer further functionality and aid design.

Popular Uses: Fitness / Casual

Weight: W38 = 2.82

Max sole thickness: 3.5mm

Compound: TC-1 Performance Rubber

Insole: 2mm EVA Anti Microbial Drilex Sockliner

Upper: Polyester Mesh

A sleek take on Vibram's original Classic, the Alitza is the perfect choice for those seeking a minimalist option. Built for light fitness activities and casual use, this shoe uses a intricately designed 3.5 mm TC-1 rubber outsole. This sole provides slip resistance and great ground feedback while protecting the foot. The EVA insole provides a bit of plating protection, and the mesh upper breaths while soft against the skin. Coconut active carbon fabric between the toes and PU printing on top provides durability without sacrificing flexibility.

Machine washable. Air dry.

Fit/Size

The Alitza is the replacement for the old Sprint and has been prettied up with ribbon-style elastics. It's an attractive shoe that will appeal to most women. It stays on well and is very comfortable but it is not the sturdiest shoe so is probably best suited to indoor use.

What do you think this product is best for (ie trail running, road running, gym, beginners, advanced)?
The Alitza is very lightweight and could be used for weight lifting or low impact classes but I wouldn't want to run or jump in them. The sole is very thin, so they provide little protection. I personally use them as a loafing around shoe - I prefer my old Bikilas for the gym.
What are the pros of this product?
Probably the prettiest Vibram shoe, and extremely comfortable and light.
What are the cons of this product?
Very minimal so unlikely to stand up to heavy duty action. As I said, I just use them for walking around and prefer to use a sturdier Vibram for fitness activities. I also found they rubbed my heels when I first got them so needed plasters for a bit.
Does the product come up large/small/true to size?
I usually wear a 39 in the covered shoes (like my Bikilas) and, as recommended, went up to a 40 for this. Fit perfectly. (For the record, I wear a 7.5 in Nike trainers and an 8 in New Balance and Adidas, but a size 6 in Next shoes and sandals).
