Fit/Size

As someone that always taped their feet, I wanted to see if there was any way around this. Usually I would tape both the soles and my toes, the latter to stop the toes rubbing against each other. For years I dismissed Injinji as a gimmick, but thought I would try a pair of the lightweights on a short trail. As soon as I put the socks on they felt alien however within a few minutes, it felt as if I wasn't wearing anything on my feet. They held up very well on a dry trail with lots of friction (Boxhill) so I wanted to try a pair of socks for an Alpine Ultra (UTMR). I bought these as they offered some more cushioning and merino wool. I also used Inov8 Terraclaw 250 (therefore not huge protection under foot). Again putting on the socks felt a bit strange, but again the feeling of not wearing anything came back. They held up very well having gone through dry and wet conditions. I swapped the pair about half way through (18hrs) for an exact same pair and finished at 34 hours. When I got back and took them off I was surprised to find that I didn't have a single blister. There was a little wear on the skin under my big toe, but nothing more than that. The toes were a little on the damp side, but I think the fact that my feet were in the wet for the previous 6 hours is good enough justification. I would definitely recommend and I have no plans of wearing anything else from now on.

Fit/Size

I get rubs on the tops of my toes, particularly in winter when ime doing my longer runs, training for my early season half marathon. My trainers are fitted in specialist running shops, and I have tried various weight/material/brand running socks without any success, so felt i was out of options and just had to tolerate the rubbing. A friend mentioned this brand, and after wearing them for only my last 5 runs, the rubs on the tops of my toes area already improving. This includes a 10 and 12mile trail run where my feet were wet/muddy on return and therefore greatly increasing the chances of rubbing occurring. Not had them long so cannot comment on durability but they feel/look like good quality socks.

What do you think this product is best for (ie trail running, road running, gym, beginners, advanced)?
Ive used them for winter trail and road runs.
What are the pros of this product?
Reduces rubbing on the toes. The hieght of the sock protects the ankle from scuffing from the other foot. Feet have stayed warm on runs. Price is in line with that paid for other quality running socks.
What are the cons of this product?
They are a little fiddly to get on so wont be featuring in my triathlon transition kit!!! They do feel a little weird when you put them on, but honestly I totally forget about this feeling once running.
Does the product come up large/small/true to size?
Ime a size 6.5 trainer and have wide feet. Ordered the Small sock size and fits fine.
